Terms and Conditions

This policy applies to all purchases made online at mie.ng a website by Mie Lifestyle Concept. Please note, unfortunately we cannot accept returns from other stores or online stores that stock Mie, as we operate as separate entities.

By using this Website you will be bound to all of the subsequent rules and regulations.

Please note that all products and services displayed within the website are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or United State Dollars (USD).

Delivery

We ship worldwide via DHL and UPS. Orders within Nigeria are also shipped with DHL and UPS, except when circumstances demand we use local logistics companies. You will get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order is ready. Please note that orders can not be cancelled after they have shipped.

Taxes & Duties

Import duties and taxes are not included in the price at check-out. You will be required to pay these charges upon delivery. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine these costs.

Shipping Time

As a sustainable and slow fashion brand, we pride ourselves on minimizing post production waste. Therefore, we keep a limited number of stock and reproduce based on demands. This is why we currently have two types of dispatches:

Stock Item: These are items already made by our seamstresses and can be shipped to you within 3-10 business days depending on your location.

Pre-Order: Each item is handmade by a seamstress, and time is required to craft garments that are not in stock for you. Also, highly demanded items may take longer if the atelier is awaiting fabrics. The standard shipping for pre-orders is 20 business days.

Please note that shipping times can be extended during holidays, sales and promotions. If you have any questions about your delivery, please contact us via customercare@mie.ng

COVID-19 Operations

We are working as fast as possible while putting the welfare of our team first and seriously taking all precautions to ensure we are keeping safe.

All our staff are informed on how to keep clean, avoid physical contacts, and use their masks properly. We also work with less seamstresses per day to ensure necessary distancing, and we keep the atelier strictly clean and disinfected.

We will continue to ship your orders to you while the postal service operates. As services are busier than usual, there may be extended delivery times. Please allow an extra 5-10 days for your delivery.

Returns

We accept returns for refunds only, no exchanges. This applies to full price items only and within 10 days after delivery. Special orders, pop up sale items and items on sale can not be returned. Once your return is received and inspected, you will get an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please note that international payments made via Direct Bank Transfer are not refundable but can be received as store credit. Store credit can be used to purchase other items online and at any time.

For your returns to be approved, make sure that the item has not been worn and/or washed. The item must be undamaged with its original Míe package in good condition.

We advise that you contact our Customer Care via customercare@mie.ng before proceeding to shipment, to inform us of your intention to return the item, and to be informed on international procedures.

Currently, we only accept returns made by DHL Express delivery initiated by you with cost paid directly to DHL. Any additional cost to retrieve the item on our hand, such as taxes, will be deducted from your refund.  Please let us know the tracking number as it is important in processing returns.

Note that your original order shipping and handling costs are not refundable. Only the item will be refunded.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your refund. You will be notified once your refund has been processed. If you received a damaged or wrong item, contact us at customercare@mie.ng with a photo of the damaged or wrong item and also stating your order number. We will take care of it.
